What Live Selfies are
A Live Selfie is a short video that your Duple companion generates when you ask for one. It sits alongside regular generated selfies: ask for a picture and you get a still photo, ask for a video and you get a short clip. Both are generated by AI, so they are fictional images of your fictional companion, not photos of a real person.
How to ask for one
You can simply ask in chat, or open the picture tray in the message box. The tray offers preset shots such as “Close selfie” and “High angle”, and a Video toggle for Live Selfies. The presets come from Duple’s servers, so the list can change.
Outfits and your library
You can change what your companion wears with the outfit picker. Adding an outfit showed a cost of 100 Dokens in the app on October 15, 2026. Everything generated is saved in the in-app library, where you can filter by companion and favourite the ones you like. See Duple pricing for Dokens and plans.
