Duple plans and prices
Duple is a free download with a Lite plan. Duple Plus is the paid subscription, and Dokens are an optional in-app currency. These are US App Store prices checked on October 16, 2026. Apple shows the price for your country at checkout.
| Plan | US price | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Lite | Free | Included with the free download. Up to 2 companions. Chat replies are capped each day on Lite (the app’s current limit is 150 a day). |
| Plus Weekly | $6.99 per week | Duple Plus. Up to 10 companions. No daily chat cap. |
| Plus Monthly | $14.99 per month | Duple Plus. Up to 15 companions. No daily chat cap. |
| Plus Annual | $69 per year | Duple Plus. Up to 30 companions. No daily chat cap. |
| Dokens | From $1.99 per pack | In-app currency for some actions. Optional on any plan. |
Plan limits (companion slots and the Lite daily chat cap) are read from Duple’s current app configuration on October 15, 2026. They can change, so the App Store listing and the in-app upgrade screen are the final word.
Lite vs Plus: what changes
Lite lets you try Duple for free: you can create companions, chat by text and use long-term memory. Plus raises your companion roster (10, 15 or 30 slots depending on the interval) and removes the daily chat cap. Some features are Plus-only: the app tells you with an “Upgrade to Duple Plus” prompt when you reach one.
The three Plus intervals are the same plan at different billing lengths. Weekly is the lowest commitment. Annual works out cheaper per week: $69 a year is about $1.33 a week, against $6.99 on the weekly plan and about $3.46 a week on the monthly plan (monthly at $14.99 × 12 ÷ 52). Over a full year, that is $69 on annual, $179.88 on monthly and $363.48 on weekly.
What Dokens are for
Dokens are Duple’s in-app currency, sold in packs from $1.99. Some actions in the app spend them. In the app on October 15, 2026, adding an outfit showed a cost of 100 Dokens, and the “Create another” companion slot showed 2,500 Dokens. Those amounts are set in the app, not by Apple, and can change.
Billing, renewal and cancelling
Plus is an auto-renewing Apple subscription. You manage or cancel it in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Duple. Apple handles refunds, not Duple. Deleting your Duple account does not cancel an Apple subscription, so cancel first if you plan to leave. The weekly plan renews every week, which is easy to forget, so check the renewal date before you start.
