Duple FAQ: plans, age rating, memory, companions and voice.

Duple is an AI companion app for iPhone. You create a companion, chat with it by text, and get generated pictures and short videos. It remembers things you tell it across conversations. It is made by Duple and is not a human friend or a licensed therapist.

Duple is free to download and has a Lite plan. Some features need Dokens (the in-app currency) or a Duple Plus subscription. See the Duple pricing page for the full breakdown.

On the US App Store on October 16, 2026, Duple Plus was $6.99 per week, $14.99 per month or $69 per year. Dokens start at $1.99. Prices differ by country and can change, so check the US App Store listing before you buy.

Dokens are Duple’s in-app currency, sold in packs from $1.99. They pay for some actions, such as adding an outfit or creating another companion. The Doken cost for each action is shown in the app and can change.

Duple’s App Store listing is for iPhone only, and the app needs iOS 26 or later. This page only describes the iPhone app.

Duple is rated 16+ on the US App Store (checked October 15, 2026). Its Privacy Policy says it is intended only for people aged 16 or older. Read more on the Duple safety page.

Yes. Duple keeps long-term memory of facts, preferences and moments from your chats so a companion can refer back to them later. You can reset or delete a companion’s memories in the app at any time. See how Duple memory works.

Yes. You can build a roster of companions and swipe between them on the home screen. The number of slots depends on your plan (Lite includes two). See Duple companions.

No. Duple does not offer live voice calls. Chat is by text. The microphone button in the message box is dictation, which turns your speech into text for you to send.

No. Duple is not built for unfiltered or explicit roleplay, and it has no catalogue of pre-made characters. You create your own companion instead. If you want a character library, see the AI companion comparisons.

Open Settings → Delete Account in the app. Duple’s Privacy Policy says deletion of your account and associated active app records begins immediately, with some limits described in the policy. You can also email the contact address in the policy.

Duple Plus is billed by Apple through your App Store account. To cancel, open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Duple. Deleting the app or your Duple account does not by itself cancel an Apple subscription.
